RABID REBECCA

HEY GUYS

Notes

RABID REBECCA goes to the zoo.

RABID REBECCA goes to the zoo.

Once upon a time, there was a little girl called Rabid Rebecca. Rebecca was very tall, and had long brown hair. Rebecca loved to smile, and did so as often as she could!

One day, Rebecca woke up, and the sun was gleaming outside. It’s bright light pierced Rebecca’s windows. Birds tweeted and twittered outside her window, and Rebecca decided to go to the zoo!

The only way to get there, however, was by the bus. Rebecca had never used a bus before, and so she carefully and determinedly sat down at the bus stop, next to a scary looking elderly woman.

“HELLO,” howled Rebecca, “I’m Rebecca.”

The elderly woman ignored her, and the bus arrived. The doors opened slowly, metal screeching and scratching with more metal.

“I wou-would like to go the Zoo please very much.” Rebecca smiled.

“The Zoo, my dear?” the bus driver answered.

“Mm.” Rebecca nodded vigorously.

“Okay, that’s £1.60 then.”

“I don’t… I don’t have any money,” Rebecca whispered, “SORRY.” She shouted, and sat down.

The bus driver relented, and drove Rabid Rebecca ALL THE WAY to the Zoo.

“FANKS!” she shouted, and waved quickly at the driver, grinning with her teeth out in the open.

Once Rebecca got to the zoo, she went straight to the section with lions and tigers. Rebecca loved lions and tigers, and painted them on her walls and furniture quite often. She had always wanted to touch a real one though.

Rebecca arrived at the enclosure. She looked around, to make sure there were no nasty security men around, and there wasn’t! Lucky Rebecca! She carefully climbed over the security walls, and went on the hunt for a new friend.

Climbing over rocks, ducking under trees, splashing in water, and edging around the walls, Rebecca was getting very tired, but soon, she found a brand new friend to play with! A tiger stood proudly in front of her, it’s huge body perched delicately on a large boulder. Rebecca’s lips peeled away into a grin, revealing a very toothy tooth-less grin. She raced towards her new friend, shouting

“Hello!”

all the way. The tiger, however, did not want to know! He ran away, startled. Rebecca kept chasing, and the tiger kept escaping. Rebecca kept going until she got too tired, and she sat down in a defiant strop. Nasty security men had finally found her, and were on there way to evict her from the premises. The tiger had hidden away in a cave.

Silent tears fell down Rebecca’s porcelain skin, and her mouth was downtrodden and defeated, the grin erased.

Rebecca didn’t stop crying until she got home, and went to bed.
